Bicycle Fit

Are you missing your full potential on the bike because of poor fit?

Does your bicycle fit you like a glove? Was it designed for your weight, riding style and use? Are you making the most of your time on the bike? Would you like to go faster on your bike with no additional training or effort?

Bicycle fitting is the first step to getting more out of your riding.

The way you interact with your bike doesn’t need to look like Lance. It should look right for you and your body, how you ride and where your ride. Most of us get caught up in what the media is telling us to look like on the bike. We forget or never even realize that in order to achieve our full potential on the bike you need to first have it fit your body just like the pros have had their bikes adjusted or made to fit their bodies.

Be more comfortable and minimize injuries.

With your bike adjusted to fit your body you will see improvements in your power and comfort and be able to maximize your position for aerodynamics. It will enable you to train harder with less chance of injury and also eliminate some of those aches and pains that come from riding a bike that has not been fit to you.

Go faster with less effort.

Your body accounts for more than 90% of the aerodynamic drag. Therefore, it is somewhat meaningless to buy an aerodynamic bike or wheels or whatever if you haven’t first maximized your body’s aerodynamics. You would likely get more benefit from having your bike fit to you properly than spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on the latest aerodynamic bike or gadget.

Increase your power on the bike

Most people gain between 10 and 30 percent power from a proper fitting.  This can be  a huge amount. Ever miss placing in a race by a small margin?
