In this video we introduce one of the tools that helps us develop an ideal position for the rider. The Guru dfu robitic fit bike. This machine is computer controlled to allow for testing new positions while the rider is on the bike pedaling. At the same time we are monitoring pedal stroke, power output and even body angle with special video motion capture software.

Very interesting video. Would like to see and hear more about how the cyclist on the Guru has determined the best fit and how this translates into cycling efficiency.

sbstrum Thanks for the comment. The fitting bike is just a tool. The fitter and rider together determine optimal position. I have some of the basics in my fitting book.

On efficiency: part of the equation is position and part learned techniques. Fitting and technique are very closely tied together and should be part of the process. Happy to answer more questions
