Bicycle Fit Pricing

Bicycle Fitting

Virtual Bicycle Fitting: $400, 2-2.5 hours. A virtual fitting can be done anywhere in the world via live video and using short video clips that you record. It is very similar to the in-person bicycle fit. I have been doing remote fittings online for 10 years. All complete fittings include 2 follow-ups within 2 months of your fitting and unlimited email follow-ups.

In-person Road or Triathlon fit: $400, 2-2.5 hours

Shopping for a new bike fit: $450, 2-2.5 hours

Road or Tri fit with technique evaluation and pedal form training: $500, 2.5-3 hours

What we do across all of our fittings:

Evaluate riding style and experience
Evaluate personal issues on the bike
Evaluate flexibility and postural issues as they apply to cycling
Foot-shoe-pedal interface
Hips-leg-pedal position
Saddle contact points
Upper body reach and angle
Hand-arm connection to bars
Optimize position for maximum comfort and power

What you get:

Comfortable, more efficient connection with your bike
Recommended changes/upgrades to an existing bike
Suggested stretches and exercises that will improve your riding
Consultation on “off the shelf” or custom new bike purchase
All complete fittings include 2 follow-ups within 2 months of your fitting.

FAQ’s

Q: When is the best time for me to get a bicycle fitting?

A: Anytime is good but ideally you should be fitted before you get a new bike, during your off-season.

Q: I’m shopping for a new bike. Should I get the bike and then come to Bicycle Lab for a fitting?

A: Get fitted first. This will ensure that you make the best possible decision on the size of your new bike. We offer a “split session” fitting for this reason (see above). Session 1 will help determine the correct size and Session 2 will be for fine-tuning.
