Let’s Transform Your Cycling In 1 Day
If you are really serious about getting the most out of your cycling, then there is no faster way than a Cycling You Day™
What is a Cycling You Day?
A full day focused only on you and your cycling. You can finally get comfortable, and smooth out your overall riding. For an entire day, we work closely together to help you get comfortable and efficient as possible on your bike. Not only do we work on your position but we take a deep look into your technique and evaluate what needs work and what doesn’t.
Most cyclists never take the time
Most riders never really set time aside to work on developing a comfortable and efficient position and hardly ever work on technique. As athletes, they have no problem with the work aspect but they never improve because they are missing some of the key building blocks to being a lifetime cyclist.
Work with an Expert
Imagine working with a recognized top expert in bicycle fit, and riding technique and from for a full day focused only on you and your riding. In just one day you can fix those comfort issues and know exactly what aspects of your cycling need work. You will know exactly what drills you should focus on to improve your comfort, efficiency to improve your overall riding experience and keep riding for life. Becoming a comfortable and efficient cyclist takes work and expert guidance.
You will learn not only what you need to practice, but when and how to practice.
Let’s face it; Elite professional cyclists go to special training camps for several weeks every year working specifically on their position and riding technique. They go to specialists like me to hone their positions so that they can train hard and spend hours a day in the saddle. (No wonder they are able to ride the way they do)
Most people just don’t have that kind of time to dedicate to our cycling. I know I don’t anymore. We have busy jobs, families, kids and other hobbies too. In between work and family life, we fit in a handful of rides during the week, only getting in our “workouts” and never actually work on improving our overall riding. The Cycling You Day™ is the best way to jump start your riding quickly.
Who Is This For?
Most clients are just normal people like you that enjoy cycling and value their time on the bike. No, you don’t have to be an elite athlete or have years of experience to benefit from a Cycling You Day™. In fact, if you are early in your cycling experience, then it’s an ideal time. In this day long session, you will hone your position and develop good technique and habits that will make you efficient and keep you injury free and riding for years to come. Together we will get you comfortable, evaluate current and future equipment and develop an ongoing plan for you to become a more effective and efficient cyclist.
The 3 benefits you will experience that will transform your cycling after a Cycling You Day™
If there is one fundamental thing that keeps people cycling their whole life or makes them give up on cycling, it’s comfort. If you are not comfortable you won’t be fast, and you will probably quit riding. It’s always amazing to me to see people that are new to riding or have been riding for years; become completely different cyclists because they are comfortable. This session will put you on the road to being comfortable so that you can start concentrating on other aspects of your cycling and not the discomfort you feel.
Walk away with a simple plan to take your riding to higher levels.
Unfortunately, there is a confusing amount of information about what bike to buy, special workouts and all kinds of people telling you to do this or that. Just look at the cover of any cycling or triathlon magazine and you will know what I mean. Sure some of those tips are great but are they appropriate for you and your lifestyle? I help you sort through the noise and develop a plan to work on the aspects of your cycling that are appropriate for you.
You will be empowered with the knowledge of exactly how to improve your cycling or what specific pieces of equipment will improve your overall riding experience. You will know what to do on your next ride that will help you climb better or stay with the group. No more guessing and jumping from one tip to the next.
Some words from past clients
[wc_testimonial by=”David – Road Cyclist” url=”” position=”left”]You were a true pro at describing many different ways to improve my cycling. I appreciated you, and your way of doing business. You were a pleasure to work with and I am glad I came to see you.[/wc_testimonial]
[wc_testimonial by=”Rita – World and National Track Champion” url=”” position=”left”]Thank you for all the time you took for my session, it was an educational experience. Before we arrived I had an opinion of the type of person/personality I thought you would be, formed from listening to your comments and interactions with the others on the podcasts of Cycling 360. It was wonderful to met you in person and find that the person on the podcast is the same in real life. Honest, open to other opinions, modest, thinking thru issues, creative, a huge knowledge base of so many aspects of cycling – the list could go on, but I promised to keep this short. How your “Cycling You” Day will work

[wc_accordion_section title=”We start with a short Skype session“]
A couple of weeks before your day we get on Skype and start planning and outlining your day.
[wc_accordion_section title=”Your Day Arrives“]
Either you arrive in Carrboro, NC, or I arrive at your location, ( or we connect via Skype for a virtual day) If coming to Carrboro I provide you with a list of recommended hotels and restaurants, etc. ( we have some fantastic local restaurants, breweries, and wine bars). We have a really nice Hampton Inn 2 miles from the studio that is right in the center of town within walking distance of all of the best places to eat.
Note: If you are doing your session virtually, the flow of the day is nearly identical except that it’s via video chat.
[wc_accordion_section title=”We start at around 9am“]
We start off the day by talking and taking a deep dive into your cycling and athletic history. Lots of questions and discussion. This helps me start building a picture of who you are as a cyclist and what your goals and dreams are. We then take a short break and work on your position on the bike. This starts by analyzing your strengths and weaknesses on and off the bike. We then fine tune your position on your bike.
The morning session is intense and by the time we finish the fitting it’s time for a nice break. Lunch Time!
[wc_accordion_section title=”I treat you to lunch at one of our local eateries“]
We have some great local places to eat. A great local food deli, Indian food, Sushi, A local burger place, etc. One of my favorites is a local Indian place that serves only food from local farms.
[wc_accordion_section title=”We begin working on your technique and from“]
After lunch, we discuss your areas of improvement and begin working on your form. We discuss how you should practice and together we figure out how to incorporate form and technique into your riding and life. We also dive into your workouts an uncover whats working and what not. Also at this time if you are in the market for a new bike or some other pieces of equipment then I help you make the appropriate selection.
[wc_accordion_section title=”End of day review“]
We finish up the day around 4pm. It has been an intense day of learning and working together. To wind down I can give you some fantastic routes to go for an early evening ride. Before the day is finished we review every thing we worked on and discussed.
[wc_accordion_section title=”Follow Up“]
Two weeks after your session we get on Skype for a follow up of things that came up in your session. I am also available via email and the phone for short chats to answer your questions that come up. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional blocks of online technique coaching if you want help, input and accountability along the way.

[wc_testimonial by=”Andrea – Beginner Road Cyclist” url=”” position=”left”]I had thought about coming to you for a couple of years, but decided to make the investment only recently. It is definitely an outlay of money, but I did get a lot out of the day things like more power from increased pedal efficiency, more comfort, and greater confidence that my bike is a pretty good fit for me.[/wc_testimonial]
[wc_testimonial by=”Mary – Triathlete” url=”” position=”left”]Well, it worked! 2:28 bike split, fastest amateur, and beat most of the pros too 🙂 Thanks again for all your help!! — Mary [/wc_testimonial]

The Cycling You Day is not for everybody. I have some simple requirements.
- You must be ready to improve your cycling. I can show you what to do and how to get there but you have to do the work.
- You are not into cycling for the glory or winning. Sounds silly but I can only work with cyclists that are into cycling for a positive whole life experience rather than just winning.
- If you have some sort of medical issue that we will be addressing, you will need to first visit a medical professional for evaluation before your visit.
To be considered for a Cycling You Day™, please complete the short application. I will personally review the application and make sure we are a good fit.
Once you are approved, we can schedule your day and you can pay in full or in 2 payments. The investment for the full day is $1200. All payments must be made in advance of your session. If the session is on your location the fee is $2000 plus travel expenses for US based or $3000 for South America and Europe
Sure its an investment but consider that in just this one day you will learn techniques and develop habits that very few cyclists ever develop, helping you improve your cycling and be an efficient cyclist for life.

FAQ and FSA (frequently should ask questions)
[wc_accordion collapse=”0″ leaveopen=”0″ layout=”box”]
[wc_accordion_section title=”How does this work Virtually ?”]
We work together the same way we would if we were in person. Except we use video and Skype to do the session. I typically have you do some short videos before the day to save time. The videos can be shot with a camera or any smart phone. I have worked with clients in Sweden, UK, Spain, Italy, Australia, UAE, Ecuador, and many more.
[wc_accordion_section title=”Where are you located?”]
In Carrboro North Carolina which is located near Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill
[wc_accordion_section title=”What is the closest airport?”]
Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU) is 25 minutes away. There are several shuttle and taxi companies as well as the usual car rentals. Delta and Southwest usually have great deals to this airport from all over the US.
[wc_accordion_section title=”I recently did a fitting session with you. How will this further my cycling?”]
That’s great! This is a tailored day for you. We work only on the things that need work. Some people come with a new bike purchase in mind while others come to get help planning their Ironman bike set on and riding technique.
[wc_accordion_section title=”I have an injury. When should I come for the session?”]
Make sure that you put some details on the application and we will discuss the best time.
[wc_accordion_section title=”Wouldn’t I be better off buying a new bike or some other bike gear?”]
You could, But the bike or gear wont change the way you ride. I am committed to helping you stay injury free and a lifetime cyclist.
[wc_accordion_section title=”This sounds fantastic, but I don’t think I am a good enough cyclist yet?”]
It may seen counter intuitive but when you are in the early stages of you cycling is the best time to start working on your position and technique. Before those bad habits are too deeply embedded.
